First off I want to say thank you to the Beautylish team not only for inviting me and my sister down to Santa Monica for the beauty social 2011. But, for putting on an amazing event that was so much fun! I'm such a horrible vlogger and was too amazed by all of the YouTubers and things going on to film/take pictures so here are the few pictures I took and I might do a short video with the footage I have? Jessie's Girl Baked Eyeshadow Palette Swatches

I am back into my blogging mode and I just finished editing my Jessie's Girl Cosmetics review & tutorial last night so I decided it would be easier to put the swatches on my blog so you can always reference back to them so here they are!

As you can see the baked palette is super pigmented and creamy, I definitely recommend!

I bought these INGLOT freedom system palettes from IMATS Pasadena 2011 and I've been using them everyday and I absolutely love them! These are my first palettes from them so I decided to purchase a neutral & colorful palettes to test them out. I'm so sad that there isn't a closer store to me but they do have a website you can purchase from ! http://www.inglotusa.com There prices are very affordable at such a professional level.

Watch the video for the exact colors as well :) I can't wait until I can get my hands on more & I want to try out more than just their eyeshadows too!

I know the majority of beauty bloggers use blogger.com, but I also know that for more "advacned" or other blogging people like to use wordpress.com. If any of you have a preference or use a certain one please let me know because I want to start a new blog :D

Transitioning to my tumblr...

I seriously update my tumblr at least twice a day with either pictures or just a quick post usually what people blog about but I am never really at home enough to just sit down and blog so I downloaded tumblr onto my ipad and phone so I literally update my tumblr so much now, I'm addicted!

SO what I've done is made my tumblr like my follow me around vlog type thing I show what I'm doing all day long and stuff like that and this blog is going to be more makeup related like what I take pictures for swatches and stuff like that so go follow my tumblr if you want to follow me around more :]

About to edit this makeup tutorial....it's my go to smokey eye and my favorite one! I use a bunch of different eyeshadows to create this look but whenever I have somewhere important to go to like an event or a dinner this is my smokey eye that I like to do because I know what shades I'm going to use and how it's going to turn out. If I have somewhere important to go to I usually don't like to experiment with my makeup just in case it doesn't turn out the way I want because then I'll have to start all over again hahaah. Anyways, I'll post the video on here as soon as I upload it!

Revlon Skin Matching Makeup

Funny enough, I purchased this on accident thinking it was a tinted primer which I thought would have been really cool because I may not have to even wear foundation but what this really is, is even more amazing! It comes out white with like little brown particles and once you blend it onto your face it matches your skin perfectly! I seriously LOVE this stuff. It is really lightweight on the skin and gives really good coverage for everyday without making it feel or look heavy. I bought mine for around 11 dollars I think? But, drugstores are always have bogos with revlon or sales so you can always wait for that!

My Wet N Wild haul tomorrow! We all know HOW obsessed I am with Wet N Wild now! haha I ran over to my Walgreens because I needed more of my eyebrow pencil because I suddenly ran out (follow me on twitter to see what happened!) and I noticed they had all of the newest trios and 8 pan palettes out! So of course, I bought all of the ones I wanted! YAY I've been searching and stalking my Walgreens for about a momth hoping to see them but they're finally here!

New obsession alert! Seriously, how did I not know or have any of the Wet N Wild eyeshadows before? I went to a few walgreens after hearing and seeing everyone want their holiday palettes I only found 3 of the 4 but I am SOOO in love! They're easy to blend out and they remind me of MAC eyeshadows where they are very creamy in a powdery sense. I think out of all of them the purple is my favorite because all 6 of the eyeshadows are in the purple theme.

At home waxing!

I needed to get rid of my lip hair one day and I usually bleach the hair but my coworkers told me that waxing is a lot better because you don't even see the hair. I always thought it would grow back thicker and thicker...well to make a long story short, I went to Sally's to get wax and came across Surgi Wax Remover for face. Here's how to do it:

Here is what it comes with:

Put it in the microwave until it gets soft. (Read the instructions for the time for your microwave) Test it out on your skin before applying to the lip area.

Final conclusion:
I think it is a good process for a beginner and at home waxing. The only thing was it took multiple times to microwave it a total of like a minute extra than it said on the instructions. I was scared to pull it off myself knowing exactly when the pain was to come but it wasn't so bad! It cools to a hard plasticy like texture then you rip it off like a bandaid! Pulled the majority of the hair off my lip but not all because I was too scared! haha I would use this again though!

Review: This palette makes a great holiday gift because it comes with a little of everything you need to complete your face! This also makes a great traveling makeup palette so you don't have to pack so much makeup this is easy to grab and go. I do believe they could have choose the colors a little better because the majority of them are very light or dark, some more neutrals would have been nice but this is a great variety if you don't like too many neutrals! First impression: OH Makeup Wipes

Ole henriksen makeup wipes! I've actually had these for awhile in my makeup wipe drawer. I usually use either the kirkland brand or the up and up brand by target which ill probably do another post on those but anyways I ran out and I needed to take my makeup off somehow so I decided to open these and use it.

My first impression: the smell is a little too strong for me. It has this orange-y type scent that doesn't stay on your skin after but its still a little strong. They take off your makeup nicely but I don't know if its just the past makeup wipes but they seemed a little dry to the point where it feels weird and feels like I'm using just a tissue paper. And I just don't have that feeling of knowing all my makeup is off. I do, however, like that its all natural line so its better for the skin.

Would I buy them again? No, I don't think so. Ill go through this pack and that's about it.

Price:$ I can't remember right now but its around 15 which is more than I would spend since I use one a day. I got these at sephora.

My new love

Sometime last week I lost my tweezers which I don't know how because I always leave them at my makeup table, but I always misplace them and find them a few days later...but this time they were gone and nowhere to be found! I finally just decided to buy new ones because my eyebrows were getting out of control! I went to sephora to get the tweezerman tweezers because that's what I had before and I loveee them and I found these!! Howww cuteee! I absolutely love them and *knock on wood* won't lose these ones!

Swatches: Wet n Wild Single Shadows

In my recent trip to Walgreens on my search to find their holiday palettes (swatches will go up soon) I decided to try out a few of their permanent single shadows especially "Nutty" because cutegingerbread on twitter was raving how nice it was! When I went to Walgreens all Wet n Wild products were half off so I ended up getting these shadows for about a dollar! What a steal.

Review:
I've worn "Nutty" a few times the pigmentation on these shadows are really nice and they are super soft and creamy which make it super easy to not only blend but to apply on the lid. I HIGHLY recommend these shadows and be sure to check back for my holiday swatches as well!

Swatches: Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Electric

I love these eyeliners because they have such a wide range of colors and they're really creamy so they can be used as a color base for an eyeshadow or for a pop of color if you're going to do a neutral eye they're so versatile!

Review:
If you have never tried these eyeliners before I highly suggest it! I love my 24/7 eyeliner in black but some say for their lids it's a little TOO creamy to the point where it smudges a little bit, I would say try it out for yourself and see! You might just find your holy grail eyeliner. Oh and these are waterproof too!

Swatches: Sephora Lipgloss #15 (sale)

I was contemplating posting these swatches because this is the discontinued lipgloss at Sephora, but they are still online and some colors in the store. They are on sale right now for $4, which is more discounted than when I bought mine at $7! Either way, a really good deal for a really good lipgloss!

Review:
This is one of my go to lipglosses - they aren't sticky (including their newer formulated lipglosses as well), and it gives a nice natural wash of color all over the lips. This is typically what I wear to school or running errands something where I want a color on my lips, but not too much. I recommend these sephora lipglosses (older & newer), they're amazing!

This blog is WAY more updated than my YouTube pretty much because I'm a busy girl. I have school, work, boyfriend, and inbetween all of that I rarely have time to relax and when I do I take full advantage of it. I'm trying to get better on making more time to record videos, edit, all that jazz but believe me if you make videos yourself you know there's a LOT of time that goes into making one video. Blogging for me is my passion and love and will always be! I also have the ability to update my blog from my phone which makes it a lot easier as well.

As for my posts I do like to keep them short and sweet because I am no professional and I'm not trying to be. So my posts are based off of my personal usage and reactions to that product. I like to just show the swatch and put a short insert of my thoughts on the product. I really don't like sitting here reading for pages and pages of one lipstick and how well it works. If it works it works! If it doesn't it doesn't, simple as that. That's just my thought on blog posts you don't need a fancy explanation of a certain product.

Zebra Key Covers!

I don't know if I've ever posted anything on here about my love for animal print, specifically zebra print. Whenever I see zebra anything I immediately need to make it mine! I have almost everything you can think of and now I even have it on my laptop when I type! I bought them here! They have tons of other prints too! I think they just add more pizzaz and fun to my laptop than just boring old keys!

Their lipsticks are very soft and moisturizing. They also have a very soft feel to them with a long lasting power. They have a wide range of colors, this particular color is more on the natural side with a hint of rosy pink to your lips. This is a great drugstore lipstick!

Physcians Formula Shimmer Brick

I have been wanting to try this for so long so I finally went to Target to pick it up. This is great because it reminds me of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks and this can be used as a highlighter, blush, and eyeshadow! I will hopefully be doing a tutorial using this product as all three. Until then here are the swatches!

Drugstore Palette for $4?!

I have NO idea why I bought this other than my impulse buying. I saw this one night while I was killing time and decided to pick this up cause it was only 4 dollars! The pigmentation is pretty good for being 4 dollars and the quality is well....what you pay for it is kind of chalky but I think if you put these shadows under NYX jumbo pencil in milk and they'll stand out like no other!

This is a CVS exclusive so go check it out! Honestly, I would only say get this if you like to try new things and are an impulse buyer like myself. Other than that SKIP! hahaha

Mulberry For Target

I know this post is a little late, but Mulberry for Target came out about a month or so ago and I have still seen some of their purses in Targets around me. I thought this was going to be another Cynthia Vincent phenomenon, but luckily I was able to get my hands on a few purses.

This pink leopard one I am not too sure if I still want to keep it....I don't know if I'll use it everyday or not. Let me know your thoughts!

My favorite one is the large black pebble, I use it everyday and it fits all my books and even my laptop for school I just love the way it dresses up any outfit. I got the smaller one for my sister and she loves hers too!

Lipstick Holder!

I'm taking a break from putting together my new makeup organizer (I'll do a seperate post) so I thought I would show you my latest find! I've been on an organizing kick, so if you have suggestions for anything makeup, closet, etc. let me know! Well, I was browsing around the Container Store yesterday, and stumbled upon these! I know there are tons on ebay and such but I wanted some right away! These are acrylic lipstick holders and as you can see from the picture they hold every type of lipstick I have! From Revlon to Yves Saint Laurent! And they only cost 6.99, they hold 24 lipsticks and I need to go back to get more! The lady even said "Wow, you must have a lot of lipsticks!" hahah...if only she knew lol. Anyways here they are!

Don't you hate it when you go to record a tutorial and after you're completely done you realize it didn't even record?! YEAH, THAT HAPPENED TO ME THIS MORNING.

I was so upset because it was a tutorial using the Venemous Villains Mineralized eyeshadow in My Dark Magic and I rarely have time to record tutorials because of school & work so I will film is sometime later this week. If you want to check out swatches of the eyeshadow click here.

Makeup Organization Tips?

So it's a little past 12 right now, and around this time (sometimes even later) I get these kicks where I just want to go clean my entire room inside and out and re-organize everything! Well, if you were to look at my room you would think it's impossible and it might just be or it might just take me forever to clean/organize everything.

The main parts that I want to focus on are my closets and makeup area. I visited Ikea yesterday & I'll post later about things I want to get etc. But I was just wondering if you guys have any cool organizational tips for makeup & clothes or any good websites that have cool things. I'm not really sure what I want for either yet so any ideas would be really helpful!

I need to make up my mind & preview!

I'm so back and forth what I want to do with this blog, I realized that not everyone has a luuux account and can be somewhat confusing trying to find a particular blogger on there and find all of their posts if you don't have an account. So what I've decided to do is just post them both on here. I've been really good about putting the makeup/products I buy aside until I can take photographs of them. I know I don't have the highest quality camera or the best lighting but I'm working my way up to get there! So for now I'm sorry! I find myself to be better a blogging than doing videos mainly because I can do it from my phone or easily on my computer on down time.

I was thinking about the post I posted yesterday (about making this blog a more personal blog, and posting my swatches & reviews on luuux) and I'm sitting in class and luuux is kind of hard to follow if I want to post all my swatches on there - I mean I still will of course but I really want somewhere to post all swatches & reviews that's easy to follow and find and accessible to everyone.

So what I need help with is what's easier for you guys to follow? Should I just post everything on here and mix in personal posts here? Orrr I don't know :( I need your help!

New changes for this blog...

That website has now turned into my "makeup blog", it's where I post most of my swatches & mini reviews because I can't upload videos everyday like I wish I could, I post 2-3 posts a day on products I'm loving or hating.

So what to do with this blog now? It's going to be more of a personal blog - where you can read about what I'm doing and I will post more important swatches here as well like MAC collections, BOS, you know the bigger items that everyone will want to see :]

Apple products! Ipad, itouch, iphone? Give me your thoughts!

To get pictures from my camera onto my computer without the cord, which is still lost somewhere in my room (I hope). I was looking around on my laptop - which is still fairly new and I don't like to read manuals or anything like that but I found an SD card slot! And it fits my cameras SD card (or are they all the same?) so I'm going to upload some pictures, edit some videos while I wait for my next class.

My laptop is pretty big and heavy it's a Sony (Not sure which model) but it is a 15.5 inch screen and carrying it from class to class is doing some work on my shoulder. I was thinking about buying a netbook for school, but then I figured it's just another mini laptop and I don't really need a whole other laptop just for school and I just bring my laptop for entertainment on my breaks or if I need to look something up for class. I have internet and everything on my blackberry so I started to think, what about an ipad? They have a separate keyboard you can purchase so in realty it is sort of like a mini laptop but a lot more smaller and light weight. And since I mainly use it for entertainment, I think I'm going to start saving up for one.

On another note - apple just released a new itouch, one that I have been waiting for...one with a camera! And it's HD recording! It says you can record, edit, and upload directly from your itouch and it has face time. But I have Verizon and have been waiting for the iphone to come to verizon which rumors - that have been confirmed that the iphone is coming to verizon sometime next year! I've heard January and other months but if that's the case I might as well wait for the iPhone! But the itouch looks so cool! I might stop in the apple store and check it out!

My favorite eyeshadow of the moment!

I've been searching high and low for my camera cord that connects my camera to my computer and now I can't get any of the pictures off of it without it! I have noooooo clue where it could be but I'll look when I get home later on today - I'm at school now, I have a 2 hour gap between classes so looks like this will be when I'm blogging/editing my videos! Now I have a specific time when I have time to do this - that's pretty cool!

So I guess I'll just do a post of one of my favorite eyeshadows I've been wearing lately (I have pre saved photographs, which come in handy in times like these!)

Introducing...Bare Minerals Eyeshadow in Flaunt!

This eyeshadow is only available in the kit "Intro to eyes", but it is SUCH a gorgeous all over the lid shadow. It's great for those days when you don't want to wear makeup, but still want to look alive and those days when you woke up late and need something to throw on really quickly.

This eyeshadow is my go to eyeshadow for those days exactly. Lately, on my days off or if I'm just going to run an errand or don't really feel like doing any makeup (which is quite often nowadays) I love just throwing this on with my MAC 217 because it packs on the color and does the blending all in one. So onto the swatches & I also took some pictures with it on as well. OH another tip, I like to do a little bit of a wing with this eyeshadow just to give it some flare. haha

It's very natural and a bit more noticeable in real life but go check it out, trust me you'll love it!

Outdoor shopping

I tweeted this picture earlier and thought I'd do a short post on why I love outdoor shopping, so random I know. Today we had dinner and went shopping at the Americana. Don't get me wrong I love shopping anywhere and I love malls because there obviously are going to be more stores in one area.

I love outdoor shopping because it seems so more luxurious and relaxing. I love just taking a stroll and popping into a store that you want to browse in. This particular place was my first time there and the scenery was so gorgeous. The apartments above cost a fortune but I would die to live in one. The thought of being able to go downstairs in the morning to grab coffee or just go shopping seems like complete bliss. I love the city and the way everything is. I live in an area where you have to drive everywhere, haha.

I would much rather go shopping outside than inside but you can't have both combined unless you want to be walking for days to go to all your fav shops so once in awhile I like to go outdoors, this one had a forever 21 and H&M!

So exhausted

I am sooooooooo tired, we were at Disneyland ALL day from when they opened until about 11 o'clock. Lots of eating junk food, shopping, and most importantly of all the rides! But I am way too tired to upload the photos from my camera and then onto here so I will get those up as soon as I can!

Bought lots of goodies and last night as I was laying in bed going to edit about 4 videos I had pre recorded, I had imported them to mp4 when they have to be mp3 (I'm not too big of a tech junkie) so I have to figure out how to fix that because they were a couple videos I was excited about and I hope I can recover them!

Day 1 in LA!

Today was our relaxing day where we just walked around and went shopping, which I totally don't mind! :D

I love Tinkerbell and all of the disney princesses :]

They also changed the "CALIFORNIA" letters, so pretty!

We also watched this show called Splash Animals. They have you guess the animal they are painting while dancing - it was really cool!

And then as we were walking back we saw some fireworks! I love fireworks and can't wait to see the whole show tomorrow.

ANDDDDDDD quick outfit of the day, when I travel I wear the top I'm going to wear for the day and I wore some sweats instead of my jeans earlier, OH and this is my hat that I loveeeeeee that I have been trying to find and found at a random kiosk.

I will be trying to record as much as I can for a video tomorrow and taking lots of pictures! Subscribe to my blog for all my updates and randomness.

Vacation time!!

That is the question. I have a shoedazzle account and every time the month comes around to pick a shoe - I don't like any of them! It seems like everyone who has shoedazzle gets really cute shoes, where's mine at?!

Anyways, I had them pick out more shoes and these are actually cute! I've never seen shoes like this before but I don't know if ill really wear them.

My latest obsession

I absolutely love this quad! I have the mystic eyes quad as well and I like that quad for a darker more dramatic look (it's not as dark as I'm making it sound haha) but this quad in dunes is what I've been wearing lately. It's very natural that "wearing makeup without looking like you're wearing makeup". It's gorgeous! Everyone talks about the mystic eyes quad but I absolutely love this one for days you don't want to wear much makeup but still want to look glammed up.

I want to try more chanel quads, I love the quality of the eyeshadows and of course the packaging!

Review: Wallflowers

This stuff is amazing! My sister gave this to me as part of my birthday present and I love it! You can find this at bath and body works and she knew I love pink so she got me a pink wallflower! Its so cute for the wall and not a typical boring plug in fragrance. Sweet pea is my all time favorite scent from bath and body works and she also got cherry blossom which is also a favorite of mine.

I plugged it and didn't expect to smell it right away but man! This stuff definitely works! I love being able to walk into my room and smell the sweet pea! A side note I left the fan on in my room and later that day I could smell the scent throughout the house!

My sister raved about this and got one for me - I would say this a must have! Good for the bathroom too :)

I highly recommend!

Blazers!

I've never known if I could pull off a blazer or not but I absolutely love the look and what they can do to an outfit. I've always used cardigans the way people use blazers - as a cover up or to accentuate an outfit. Well I was on a hunt for a cute blazer that didn't cost too much because I'm not even sure if ill ever wear it!

I saw target had one for 30 dollars and was about to get that one when I stopped into H&M and saw this one for just 5 more dollars. I got it right then because I saw other ones for 80 and above!

Maybe ill do a blogpost or video on different ways to style it? I'm not too sure because I have no idea when ill wear it I just new I had to have one so when I do want to wear it ill have it.

Get naked with neutrals!

Words cannot express just HOW MUCH I love this palette! I will do a further review on the palette along with tutorials and pictures different looks and such. But anyways, when I saw that Urban Decay was coming out with a neutral palette I knew I had to pick one of these babies up. And as I have heard through the grapevine that this palette is going to be part of their permanent palette collection. I absolutely love neutrals and urban decay eyeshadows so this is a perfect match for me! Urban decay eyeshadows are eyeshadows I've always loved they're so soft and creamy easy to blend out and they have the perfect amount of shimmer in them. Although some eyeshadows do tend to have fallout it's worth the hassel.

Another thing I love about this palette is it's a lot smaller than the book of shadows. I loveee my book of shadows I have the volume 2 and the alice and wonderland palette - those are a must get when they come out as well. I take my book of shadows with me traveling everytime and it's a palette I use on a daily basis. The naked palette is so much easier to travel and carry and it has all the shadows you need for a light look, everyday look, even a night out look! It's amazinggggggggggg. Anyways, this is a haul/review - I also got a nail polish from sephora brand called teeny bikini and of course it's that minty green color my favorite! I also picked up a product called lip last in their sale section and it's supposed to make your lip color stay on longer - we'll see about that!

Maybelline Define a Brow - Gone so quick?!

It might be my imagination (and I'm regretting not showing my haul on this product), but I thought I bought my Maybelline Define A Brow not too long ago - possibly a month ago? And I JUST ran out yesterday and freaked out and ran to target to get another one. Now I don't really mind because it's my all time favorite brow product EVER and it only costs 5 or 6 dollars, but I feel it should last longer than a month? I do use it everyday but still! Has anyone else had this problem with it running out so fast? Or maybe I just use my too much or I have no idea!

Anyways, we shall see when we buy the next one because now I have it documented on when I got the last one!

August today (well technically I guess it's the second now - my sleeping day I guess haha) last month I had the goal of blogging at least once a day, which I got half way there! I think? I'm too lazy to check but I think around 14 posts last month? For me, that's pretty good! So let's see if we can keep this up - a lot exciting videos coming up (HOPEFULLY - I always say that right? hahaha) because at the end of this month OMG DID NOT REALIZE I HAVE TO GO BACK TO SCOHOL AT THE END OF THIS MONTH NOOOOOOOOOO! is back to school aka fashion and makeup and any other randomness I come up with.

It's so crazy how fast this year if flying by! I know I know I say that every month "I can't believe a month has passed already" but really?! August?! Seems just like yesterday I was celebrating the new year! Craazzzzzyyyyyy! So much has happened this year it's insane.

But I'm okay with it being august because, this friday (august 6th) is my BIRTHDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! Feels like I haven't had a birthday in a couple years which is impossible but feels like it! Not doing too much for my birthday, but I am going on a trip next week! So excited to have a mini vacation, haven't had time off in what feels like months, I will film my August favorites probably tomorrow because I am so pooped if you follow me on twitter (which you should) click me! - I have been productive and re arranged all my furniture in my room! I am slowly starting to re-do my room (refer to a previous post about my room ) my room has pretty much been the same all my life and I wanted a change so I'm doing piece by piece! I will update here like if I get any new furniture or what I'm changing, I'm so excited! It'll probably be a long process though because I can't go out and buy everything all at once, but in the end it'll be worth it!

Hiking day yet again

What an amazing day off! Even though I think I now have insomnia and only got 5 hours of sleep before I woke up and went hiking with my friend..I'm still not tired and feel soo refreshed! I love those days when you wake up early and have things to do rather than sleep in and sleep half of the day off.

I always go to sleep at a late time usually around 2 or 3 in the morning but lately I've been a super insomniac aka staying up still 5 in the morning cleaning and organizing my room - refer to the post before this one- but I've been really into cleaning and getting my room perfect lately!

So now I'm just watching the boyfriend play basketball on this gorgeous summer day! Went hiking earlier aka my new favorite thing to get excercise and then went to lay out by the pool soooo relaxing!

I've also been super productive now that I'm a super insomniac haha I've edited 4 videos! Now to just upload them...and ill make a full on blog post later! The feeling of being productive is amazingggg..

Ever get bored of your room?

Of course this isn't my room, I just wanted to show a picture of a nice clean room hahaha - unlike mine.
That's exactly how I've been feeling for the past 3984729387423 yearssssssss! Not really of course but, I have such an odd room shape and where the vents are located there's really only one certain spot to have my bed since it is a full sized bed - which means my furniture in my room has stayed in the same exact spot for my entire life. So I've always thought about changing my furniture around and for the past couple days I've had insomnia and been cleaning my room like no other and now I REALLLLY want to change my room around!

Trust me I've measured, drawn out, done everything to figure out what I can do with my room....NOTHINGG!

So I guess I'll just have to stick to buying new organizational items for my room and makeup storage. Do you guys have any suggestions/ideas for places or online websites where I can get cute stuff? Once I get my room super clean and to the point where I want to show it off I'll do a video on it but until then it'll have to wait! Sorry for the late night ramble but just wanted to blog a little :] Going hiking and laying out by the pool for a relaxing day off tomorrow!

Drugstore Haul

I recently went to Ulta and Target and picked up a few things, even though I said I wasn't going to buy anymore makeup I just wanted to pick up a few things I have never tried from the drugstore to do a haul, review, or tutorial. So if you want any of those just leave a comment below asking :]

Hiking

I absolutely lovee hiking, I'm not too much of an outdoorsy kinda girl but hiking is such good excercise for lazy people like me (who doesn't go to the gym or workout). Now I'm not saying hiking is for lazy people like its not hard or anything. I mean: I don't work out at the gym or at home or anything like that, I just mean instead of sitting on my butt watching tv or something I like to go hiking.

Why? Because it is one of the rare things that will make myself wake up early - you def wanna go in the morning before it gets too hot! - and allows me to have fun yet get a nice workout. I love the fresh air and how calming everything is with the atmosphere and rivers. Sometimes I like to bring food to have a picnic.

But anyways, we saw sooo many deer when I went yesterday, they got so close to us it was amazing! They're just too fast to get a picture of, this is a little baby deer that ran pat us.

I know I haven't blogged in awhile but I hope everyones doing well and having a great summer! I'm currently laying out by the pool soaking up all the sun!

Yesterday was crazy busy! I have been trying to be good about posting at least one post a day, if not more! But yesterday, I went with a friend to assist her in freelancing for an Indian wedding. Now, I don't freelance but I thought it would be a good experience in case I ever want to in the future just to see what the process is, what goes on "behind the scenes", what items to bring, etc. Let's just say you have to work fast! I didn't get any pictures of the actual bride but of course she did she looked gorgeous!

To be honest, after going with her I've always done my friends, family, their friends, etc. hair and makeup but I want to look into doing hair more often I think it's so fun! Anyways, sorry it's such a short post I'll be posting some old swatches after this.

Boring day

So I won't have my camera until later when I get home around 11 so I'm stuck doing a boring old text blog.

Recap of today: nothing! Today was suuuuper boring, all I did was get up and went to go eat with my sister and dad. That's about it. As for my weekend plans tomorrow I have to get up on my day off to go in at 7 in the morning for a meeting (boooo!) And then later tomorrow I'm going with my friend to do a wedding! I will definitely be taking lots of pictures but its an all day thing so it should be tons of fun! As for the rest of the weekend nothing really is planned but we shall see!

I forgot my camera battery at my sisters house, so I have no way of uploading the pictures from the zoo yesterday or any other pictures at that! And today was super boring, so I have nothing really to talk about. MAN! And I was doing so good at posting a blog at least once a day. I was going to record a video when I got home today, but my eye went crazy and started acting funny and watering non stop so I had to take off all my makeup so no video today except I am uploading my IMATS Pasadena haul!

Later on today I might do an IMATS recap, but there's not too much to talk about lol. I went shopping on forever21.com because I haven't went clothing shopping in awhile and boy did I find a bunch of stuff I liked! I am in troubleeeeeee, hopefully I will put my order in tomorrow :]

Mini mini haul

Today I went to the zoo (see previous blog post) and we stopped by ulta on the way home to just browse and I realized I needed my loreal felt tip liner in carbon black and while I was shopping I went to check the revlon lip glosses that I love. And funny enough I only like the limited edition glosses and I use the hot pink one everyday and its called rose radieux. So I had to get a backup since I can't find it anywhere anymore!

If you didn't know already I have been on a no buying makeup unless its something I need (foundation, eyeliner, etc) so I saw so many things I wanted but couldn't buy :( anyways ill be posting the zoo pictures when I get home!

On the way to the zoo!

I'm in the car on the way to the zoo! I'm so excited to just get out of the house and do something! Most days I'm either working or the days I have off I end up just relaxing in my house. But anyways ill post pictures later of the zoo :) I'm about to read lauren conrad's LA candy, which weirdly enough I read the second one before the first one haha. I love books like this- do you guys have any recommendations for summer reads?

I also bought the stride flavor changing gum which is...interesting I don't notice a significant difference when I chew it but all the sudden my mouth will be minty but still kinda taste like berry? Weird.

I also have another question to ask you guys, would it be too annoying if I did a blog post more than once a day? Even if its super random (kinda like twitpics but with a longer explanation, khloe kardashian style ahaha) let me know! Anyways, pictures later. Have a fab day!

Happy 4th of july everyone! Hope everyones having a fun and safe night! I already am starting to hear fireworks and the sun is finally going down! Today, were celebrating 4th of july at my grandmas house where we've eaten delicious food,dessert, watermelon, etc. And now were just playing with the sparklers and firecrackers (since fireworks are actually illegal where I live-booooo). So I hope everyones having a great, safe night!

p.s. that picture of that dog is my cousins dog who is deathly afraid of fireworks or any loud noises and hides under the couch or in the bathroom. Whereas my dog is curious and likes to go up and smell the fireworks an see what it is. lol

Okayyyy...that was an absolute fail! I just wrote a whole blogpost about blogging from my phone. I hit add image to see if I can add pictures on my phone anddd it completely erased everything!! Ohmygoodnesss let's see if I can remember what I said..

So blogging from my phone! As we all know I kind of stink and updating my blog on a regular basis. It's not that I do it on purpose or anything like that its just I don't have the time to sit and write a post or if I do I don't have my laptop with me. My ultimate wish would be to be able to do a minimum blog post of one a day if not more! I absolutely loveeee blogging and taking pictures of swatching, reviews, etc. But it comes down to..having no time at all :(

Enter- mobile bloging!! Wooohooooo! I've always known about it and seen it on the sight but I was skeptical of how it would turn out or what it was like. Btw, I'm writing this from my phone as we speak! So maybe this could be my way to be able to blog all the time! I'm a fast texter so this could turn out well :)

IMATS 2011 - NEW YORK!

So I know that IMATS 2010 - Pasadena just passed, and yet I'm already planning for next years IMATS that's going to be in New York! BTW, I am going to do a post on IMATS recap from alst weekend, I'm just not at home at the moment. So I do live on the west coast and Pasadena is a lot closer to me than New York but here's my justification. I've ALWAYS wanted to go to New York, so this is another excuse to go! I missed out on a couple vendors at this recent IMATS because it was so packed and too long of a wait. Hopefully I'll be able to stay for a couple extra days after IMATS to do some New York shopping! Wooooo!

Is anyone else going to be going to IMATS in New York next year?

Anyways, I was planning to go to last years IMATS but didn't have the time off from work to go. This year I planned way in advance that I was going! I will be only going on Saturday arriving around 11:30ish.

There are going to be soooo many vendors I don't know where I'll even begin! I know I definitely want to hit up Makeup Forever (of course), Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, and so many more I can't even think of right now because I'm getting excited thinking about how much makeup is going to be in one spot!

I know there are going to be so many other gurus there, but to be honest I'm not going there to meet up with them, I'm going there for the makeup! And I am only going for the one day so later tonight I am going to make a list of the places I want to go and the things I want to buy. Hopefully if I have enough time I'll post my list on here! I guess that's all I really have to say about IMATS! If you have any questions or anything like that post it below :]

Tarte Lip Stain Review

I bought this a few weeks ago at sephora because I love wearing color on my lips, but I don't really like having that sticky feeling on my lips or having to apply it over and over again. NOTE: I have superrrrrr dry lips and I noticed on the packaging it says it increases the moisture in your lips as well.

After using it a few times, I am in LOVEEE! I love the color, it's a soft pink very wearable for everyday, moisturizing, and stays on for hours! Most of the lip stains I have tried either fade, bleed, or they make me look as if I had just eaten a Popsicle. This doesn't do any of that! It looks as if you are wearing a gloss, but it just stays on forever & this is especially good for summer it's a nice pink!

Will I buy it again?Absolutely! I want to pick up a few more colors as well! I really recommend these, this is the best stain I have ever tried!

Blog Haul (New Series) - Ulta

So I wanted to start this new little "series" on my blog. Just small hauls that either I am too lazy to do a video on, too small, not that important, or what have you. This happens to be a little mini Ulta Haul with the NYC Creme Blushables. Sometimes I may include a little review if I have tried it already, if not I will do a follow up review. I think this may be good just because sometimes I forget to add stuff in hauls if it has been a long time, you know the drill lol.

The three colors I got were South St Seashell, Big Apple blush, and Plaza Pink

Now, I've got to admit - I only bought these beause I saw michele1218 (on YouTube) buy these and she really liked them. I probably would have never found these if it weren't for her because I checked my local CVS AND Target and they didn't have any of the colors out. I stopped buy my Ulta and they had all of the permanent colors, they didn't have the ones that michele1218 talks about because that was part of their summer collection I believe.

REVIEW: I only tried the South St Seashell and that was for the first time today. So I might do a further review later on but based on the consistency and how well it went on I really like these so far! I have tried MACs cremeblushes and clinique and some other brands. And honestly, I tend to stay away from the creme blushes because I feel when I apply them they begin to look spotchy and uneven, almost as if I rubbed my cheek unevenly. These went on so smooth and you don't have to set it, but I did with mine it went on amazingly! I used my fingers and a brush and they both worked fine.

Now, I was skeptical of purchasing these at first just because I have had bad luck with the creme blushes but at 3.99 for amazing quality. Who can go wrong!? I really do like these and I recommend these as well! Give it a try, they are a lot cheaper than the competitors! I believe you can get these at CVS, mine just didn't have them out yet.

Upcoming MAC Collections

Lately, I think MAC has had an overkill with all of their collections coming out. I feel like with each collection that comes out they don't put much thought into each one to make it that special. For example, the Hello Kitty collection & style warriors were big collections last year. So far, I have no seen a huge collection that has been as good as those simply because they come out with mini collections every Thursday. I feel like if they were to have a HUGE collection come out maybe once a month, that would be much better and more worthy. I have skipped so many collection this past month because I just feel they are nothing special. I am a sucker for limited edition items/packaging so that's why I feel the need to buy stuff, but at the same time it limits me from expanding my permanent collection from MAC.

I need a new camera

LONG TIME NO TALK! The main reason why I am so lazy updating the blog and doing swatches, etc. is that the digital camera I have now, I don't really like and it doesn't take that good quality pictures. So this friday, I believe I am going to go on a hunt for a good camera that takes decent videos as well here are some of the ones I have been looking at:

-This camera I have been eyeing for quite awhile because it takes really good pictures, yet has HD filming as well. I don't necessarily NEED the HD videos...but it's a nice little option!

-I also have been looking into this one as well because I believe this is one of the videos Lorraine uses on her day in the life vlogs and it is such nice quality! Another added bonus is the screen on the front so you can make sure you look good in the pictures [LOL]

Anyways, I am not that knowledgable in the technical field so if you have any suggestions for any digital cameras that would be wonderful! Thanks so much for reading.

I always somehow manage to neglect my blog... but I do have a semi excuse...I work & go to school full time so I am exhausted by the end of the day! But my new goal is to blog at least 3 times a week whether it be a short blog or a long detailed blog!

SOOO AN UPDATE!!!
Well, actually there's nothing really new that's going on with me other than, I have no idea what I want to major in/do in life. For the longest time I wanted to become a dentist...but that was mainly because they make a lot of money. When I started to think about what I REALLY wanted to do...that wasn't it....I should want to WANT to become a dentist & have a passion for it...which I do not. So instead this summer, I think I am going to go to cosmetology school for I think hair...I love doing peoples hair/makeup so I definitely want to go into that field & I also wanted to start thinking about modeling...yeahhhh I don't know about that one!

But other than that, just busy with school & work...I'm sorry I'm such a slacker! I even have tonsss of pictures on my camera of swatches but I never get around to posting!

OH, I think I am going to get a new camera this week! Excitinggg! Just a regular one to take pictures :]

ANDDD, I am going to start doing [if you watch Lorraine from the "thecurrentboobies" her channel. I love that style of follow me around vlogs! So I wanted to start doign videos like that...but it might just be like a couple times a week not daily because most of the time I'm either going to work or going to school...boringgg!

Yay!

Today I bought my Flip Mino HD! The reason why I bought this camera and not the others is because this video camera is going to be dedicated to vlogging and bringing the camera around with me blahblahblah and when I'm not around my laptop to film.

I'm going to LA [if work gives me the time off!] next week for a few days to go shopping [:D] and I primarily bought the camera so I can document all the fun! I hope you guys will enjoy these kinds of videos cause it gives you an inside scoop in my personal ilfe!

So I got 2 days shipping which means it will be here on THURSDAYYY! Woohoo! Yay for faster shipping! And I plan to do a vlog before I leave to test out the camera and stuff.

I am going to buy a HD camcorder eventually...just not now because I don't think that it is a necessity and it can wait especially the big price tag that goes along with those cameras!

Updated Wants List

I think for once in a loooong time, the majority of my list on my wants list is not makeup! I just feel that I don't need anymore right now..at least nothing in specific that I can think of right now. So anyways, this updated wants list may be a bit boring. I get these makeup cravings and they tend to go away and I replace it with clothes, but I think right now it's being replaced by random stuff like electronics and my favorite thing to spend money on purses :D.

1. Louis Vuitton Speedy in either 35 or 40, I can't decide!

2. Also, the leopard scarf from Louis Vuitton, but I couldn't find a picture of it.

3.New Vanity for my makeup, I want to re-do my room! [Not this specific one]

Recent MAC Collections

For some odd reason, I have not been to MAC in awhile now! The last collection I got items from was the holiday collection when it first came out so about two months ago [?]. Anyways, since then they have come out with three more collections: Love Lace, Warm & Cozy, and the all age, sex blahblah collection. While they all look amazing and I want to get all of it, for some reason I cannot pull myself to go there to check them out.

I think the main part of this is because I'm tired of collections. I want to finally start my permanent MAC collection. I don't like having limited edition items when other people won't be able to get them or once I run out I can't get them again.

Does anyone else feel like that? So unless a collection has AMAZINGG products or anything like that I want to start to work on my permanent items because as of right now most of my MAC collection is limited edition items. Also I feel like all the products are the same for these three collections because they are all neutrals!

Who knows maybe I'll go out to check them out tomorrow. haha

I need your help...

So I have been wanting to get a new camera for awhlie now. The one I have right now is perfectly fine, although it's not as good as I would like it to be and pretty heavy. Also, I can't make videos on the camera because it sounds like I have a lisp when I talk haha. So my dilemma! I definitely want an HD camera because it's such good quality, but right now I don't see myself spending the thousand dollars on the high tech sony or canon camcorders that are popular. HD camcorders, no matter what brand is still going to be expensive so I feel that I should hold off for awhile on the camcorder because the only use it would serve is to make videos.

The sony camera that makeupbytiffanyd uses recorders HD videos and then it would be like killing two birds with one stone, I think that's the saying? lol Anyways, it's also a lot cheaper.

OH and I wanted to start doing my vlogs like walking around with me kind of thing but I don't want to be holding a camera like a tourist everywhere. So I was either thinking of getting a new Flip camera [I already have one but it's not that great of quality and I would want the mino HD] or the ipod video because I've researched and the quality is surprisingly really good! So lemme know you're thoughts because I really don't know what to do!

But, it might not just this moment I will probably end up getting the flip mino hd just because they're so cute and I can always use them for vlogs anyways :] The ipod nano video one is nice because of the video quality but I do already have an ipod nano, so we'll see which camera I get first. I will definitely keep you guys updated!

Goodbye 2009..you won't be missed

I sit here and look back and the things that I have done and things that have happened in the past year. A lot has happened, I have started new by leaving my boyfriend of two years to start something new, not be tied down and experience new things. I have had my heart broken (by another boy), which was a new experience and have learned MANY new things about myself and others. If I were to make a blog post about that, that would probably be a novel in itself! Many things have changed in just a short amount of time, which makes me wonder what will happen in 2010?

I don't think I will miss 2009. 2009 was different for me, something new happened everyday and as I recollect from the year, most of it wasn't even good. Of course, there are no regrets here, we learn from our mistakes and experiences to make us strronger and better. So, no 2009 you won't be missed and 2010 here I come!

I feel like now more than ever I can start over fresh, I'm older and single. There will be many new beginnings and new adventures to come. I'm so excited that I can finally just begin all over again. I have never really had a chance to begin something like this because I was either too young to realize or was tied down.

So to begin this new year with a bang, I am about to get my nose pierced I am SOOO nervous but after the 2 seconds of pain, it will be worth it! I plan to make many changes with myself [not all physical lol] so I am excied and nervous to see what the new year brings me.

Update! Where have I been?

Just wanted to post a little update as to why I've been so MIA.
A lot had to do with my personal life, and for awhile I was going to delete my whole YouTube account and blog. But [I will do a what I learned in 2009 video] I learned that it's not the end of the world and to keep doing what I love.

I got a new laptop, the laptop I was using before was SUPER slow, it would take 5 minutes to load a page no joke, and so that pretty much made me not want to edit my videos and post blogs because I would get so frustrated that it was so slow! Now I will update as much as I can and as soon as I get an editing program onto my laptop I will make more videos! I'm so excited :] Oh as a side note, I have gotten a new job which they work me full time so sorry if I sound sleepy or have mis-spelled words!

Random - My First Konad Stamp!

Okay, I swear it came out perfect at first! And then, I put on a clear coat on top and I forgot that it was still wet and I smudged it :[. It's really easy to use this was my first stamp ever! The first time I tried though, I waited too long to stamp it and the nail polish dried so you literally have to put the nail polish on the design, scrape, and RIGHT away stamp it.

Another thing I noticed, is that the smaller sized designs are kind of big! As you can see in the picture the bow is literally the size of my nail going diagnally. So it was kind of difficult trying to line it up perfectly, but other than that I loved the bows <3.

Tomororw I am going to film my little haul & show a demonstration and I was thinking hot pink with black zebra? Hmm, we'll see tomororw! I'm super excited to have this Konad stamp kit. My sister and I have been contemplating on getting it for literally 4 months. And I don't know what urged me to get it this time but I'm so mad I didn't get it earlier! Now to just save more money to get more colors and designs :D

Sneak Peak - Video On Sunday

Guess what came in the mail today...

I was so excited I ripped open the package and started stamping! It's amazinggg! I wish I had the money to buy every pattern and nail polish! But this will have to do for now :] First of all, super fast shipping! Guys, I ordered this Wednesday NIGHT and it came TODAY [Friday]. WOW, I was estimated it to come around Tuesday or Wednesday of next week! It took ONE DAY! That is amazinggg! Anyways, this will be my video for Sunday a haul/review/demonstration. Random - My Last Minute Semi Halloween Costume

For Halloween, I didn't do anything big or actually anything at all. I just went to Michael's house and we were supposed to watch a scary movie, but since I'm a chicken and hateee scary movies we decided to watch South Park [lol, I know so in the spirit!] and then I went to sleep early. Haha yup that was my Halloween! Anyways, before I left my Sister & I always take this Halloween pumpkin picture every year. We are normally in costumes but this year neither of us dressed up so last minute we just decided to do our makeup like a doll so that we didn't look so plain Jane in the picture!

Nail Polish - NARS Orgasm

This is a really nice everyday kind of color. Comparing it to the actual blush I'd say they matched it to the tee, although it did come out a little bit more orange than I thought it was going to but but still I love this color. I LOVEE the consistancy and the application of the NARS nail polish, so I went online to check out the other colors and I didn't like any of them. Which sucks because if they had other colors I liked I would have bought them. I feel like all of their other colors are just like Orgasm and are realllyyy sparkly. But for now the NARS Orgasm nail polish will do.

Why I haven't been blogging

This is just my sad excuse blog as to why I haven't blogged in such a long time.

1. School -Midterms next week! Eek! And this weekend I need to do 3 seperate essays. Blaah
2. Computer - I might have the slowest computer in the entire world, so I used to stick to blogging at work because it was a much faster computer. But recently, quit my job so then there's no computer at home that is fast enough for my fingers! Hence, why I haven't been making that many videos as well. I will hopefully be getting a new laptop soon! Not a MacBook like I've been wanting but any will do :]

Anyways, I just thought I'd catch up and update you a little bit. I am more in the video making mood now. But I think I'm going to stick to a schedule instead of just doing videos whenever I feel like it because I put it off put it off put if off. What do you guys think of a schedule?

MAC Magic, Mirth, and Mischief Holiday 2009 Kits

Wow, so many exciting and good collections are coming out sooo close together. I'm hating but loving it! My credit card is lovinggg their collections. Anyone else think that they should come out like every few months instead of every 2 weeks? It's kind of an overkill but it's good that they are at least coming out with good ones.

So after the D Squared collection comes out on October 15, 2009 MAC is releasing yet another collection the Magic, Mirth, and Mischief Holiday 2009 Kits. Seriously MAC, do you know how much I love palettes?! PLUS these are such great stocking stuffers and christmas presents! I'll probably end up picking up a few extra for Christmas presents :] I would DEFINITELY go the day it comes out because these little babies sell FAST! Okay anyways, here's my list:

I'm not too interested in the lip palettes but possible for gifts!
The cheek colors are questionable, so I will have to check both of these in the store
Other than that the eyeshadow kits are alllllll mine :D

At first, when I read about this on temptalia.com I was super excited and planned to get everything. As the launch date came closer and closer I just wasn't too excited because of the things I've been hearing so this is what I got!

I decided that I'm going to do another "What I want" List because not only does it help me [trust me, there are probably hundreds of stickies in my notebook and on my desk of lists! I need one area to write them down] but it always allows you guys to see what my style of makeup is, what's new, what's in style, stuff like that. It's mainly going to be clothes & makeup but we'll see!

D Squared Collection

Who is ready for this collection? It was originally supposed to come out on October 14th or sometime in October, but is now releasing on September 28th. Yes, you read correct!! I'm SOOOOOO excited you guys have no idea!!!! Honestly, everyone has been talking about the style black collection, but I am wayyyy more excited for D Squared! Are you guys?!

Here's my little wishlist [For pictures, check out temptalia for the D Squared]

1. Lipstick: Nude Rose [This looks soo gorgeous, I might have to pick up two!]
2. Tinted Lip Conditioner: Fuchsia Fix Deep pink sheen [A little darker than I would normally go, but gorgeous!]
3. Both of the Sculpt & Shape Powders [I missed these when they came out before!]
4. The blue & purple Grease Sticks [I will be getting the black today!]
5. Kohl Power: Feline [Everyone raves & I must try!]
6. Brush: 165 [This is LE]

So overall, you can probably tell I'm pretty stoked about this collection because I have almost everything from the collection on my list! I have not been this excited in a long time for a collection!! With that said, I don't think I'm going to get much from the Style Black collection today, just some of the LE items. I wish they hadn't put these collections so close together because now I'm going to be broke! But it's so worth it :]

New Layout & Update!

Sorry I've been MIA guys!
I was doing sooo good with the updating blog...but then school started. School has taken over my life! haha the only time I have to edit, upload videos, and add to my blog are while I'm at work. And even there it's getting pretty busy. So I promise I'm alive!

I was just want to make a shoutout to all of my amazing followers here on my blog and on youtube!! I just hit over 300 subscribers!!! And yeah...it's not a lot but I'm SOO excited. I'm having a contest so soon guys I promise I just need to get all the prizes together! I love you guys!

I filmed a haul today, and sneak peek I bought Revlon Colorstay Foundation because I've heard nothing but good things about it. I did buy a little bit of a pinky tone but it's amazing! so far...we'll see!

MAC Jin Soon Choi: Beyond Jealous

My absolute favorite nail polish, not even just for fall! It comes off almost black but if you look closely it's green! I've gotten a lot of compliments on this! This color is really similar to the OPI by sephora color dark room.
